BLEACH DYED HLLWN SHRTS

Make a rad statement this Halloween by taking an old or new plain black tee and turning it into a masterpiece! Waverly love his! Great way to take something old and make it new again or to give you a reason to go thrifting! We love to tie dye in my bungalow if you couldn't tell and this is another easy project to put together and most of the items you might already have!

Materials

Black T-shirt

Rubber Bands

Bleach

Water

Gloves

Bowl

Instructions

Prepare a bowl or bucket using half bleach half water and set aside

Lay your tee flat

Pinch the middle and start twisting it in a circle until the entire shirt is now in a circle like form

Start wrapping your rubber bands around it to hold it together

Place your short into you bleach mixture

Keep an eye on it and take it out when the color suits your liking

The longer it sits, the more washed out the color will become.

I left mine sit in for about 15 minutes, I liked the more orange effect since I was going for a Halloween type of shirt.

Rinse under cold water

Hang it up do dry

Hand wash a few times and dry again.

I think this would look awesome in a long sleeve too! Share your creations over @thelittlebungalow on instagram, we would love to see and share them too!
