DIY DRIFTWOOD PEACE SIGN

We all need to keep the peace in our lives and here's an adorable way to add a little more of it to your little bungalows! This is one of my favorite DIY projects and I just love the outcome at the end. Not one is ever the same and they are so beautiful displayed on walls or among your shelves. All you need are a few materials and some time enjoying the sunshine. Scour your beaches for all the driftwood or head to the woods and simply pick up some sticks if you don't have access to the beach. You might even be able to find driftwood at your local craft stores.

Materials: Scissors

Driftwood Hot Glue Sticks

Hot glue gun Recycled Cardboard

Instructions:

First we want to cut out our peace sign using our recycled cardboard. I used a cereal box, but would recommend using a thicker cardboard if you have it on hand. The cereal box kind of buckled a little bit, but it isn't that noticeable so if a cereal box is all you have just got for it! Once you have your peace sign all cut out start placing your driftwood (or sticks) around it as if they were puzzle pieces and glue them down along the way. When you have your base pretty much covered in your wood start glueing more wood pieced overlapping as to cover up any spaces or holes. Let all your glue dry and you should now have a beautiful looking peace sign to show off! I glued a looped string to the back so I could hang mine. Feel free to just leave it as is or do the same :) I hope you enjoy this one! We sure did! Peace, Love, and Inspiration to you all.
