DIY HALLOWEEN SPIDERWEBS

This Halloween season has really got me into the crafting mode and I am loving every bit of it! I hope all these projects I have been posting are inspiring you in some way :) These little webs were so simple to make and require just a few simple materials. If you have read other posts of mine, you might have come to the realization that we love anything that requires being outdoors and I love coming up with crafts that involve getting the kids outside and exploring nature. For this craft get your kids ready to pick up sticks! I mean my boys pick them up along with rocks and other things on a daily basis so this was nothing new to them. LOL! Once you have all your sticks collected you can bring them inside and get ready to weave these simply cute webs.

MATERIALS: STICKS, WHITE YARN/STRING, HOT GLUE, HOT GLUE GUN, SCISSORS

INSTRUCTIONS: Using 4 sticks of similar size arrange them to make your base of your web shape; crossing each over one another. You should have 8 arms sticking out in a circle like shape. Hot glue your sticks together. Once glue dries cut a good length of white yarn or string and tie it off in the center, wined it around the middle o bunch of times to secure the sticks a bit more. Next start looping your string from branch to branch, looping it twice around before moving to your next branch (I found that this made it a bit tighter). Once you reach the end you can tie off your string and hot glue the ends. If the web seems a little loose you can use a bit more glue to keep it even more secure. Display them on window sills, picture frames, mantels, etc. They are such a simple decoration piece to add to your little bungalow for Halloween. Happy crafting!

Make sure to share your spiderwebs @thelittlebungalow on Instagram so we can share them in our stories! We would love to see your creations!
