DIY TIE DYED CREW SOCKS
I have been on a tie dye kick lately and I don't hate it! My boys are in love with these and I am too! These were so much fun to make that I ended up going out and buying more socks to dye! We had so much fun using different techniques to then reveal the outcome of each. We love the way they turned out! What do you think?!
This is a great project to do on those days when you are bored or stuck inside on a rainy gloomy day!
Materials
Crew Socks
Rubber Bands
Ice
Bucket or dish
Glass
Dyes (liquid or powder)
Bleach
We played around with dyes and dyed a few socks darker colors then sprayed them with bleach once they were dry. We rolled up some other socks and put them each in a glass, covered the socks with ice and dropped liquid dye onto the ice (the blue and white pair are the outcome of that!) MY FAVORITE! We also tied a bunch of rubber bands around some others and just added colors by dipping the socks into each color dish. The creations are endless so just have fun with it!
Let your socks dry then hand wash each and put into the dryer. The darker blue colored ones might need a few washes as they might temporarily stain your feet ;)
Share your creations with @thelittlebungalow on Instagram so we can share them too! WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE!
